katelyn got to share a tradition we have in our family with her class. it didn't necessarily have to be a christmas tradition, but since it was december most of the traditions shared had to do with christmas.
she was assigned one of the last days to share her tradition, and she really didn't want to repeat any traditions already shared at school. it got a little tricky trying to decide what to share because she'd come home from school and tell me that someone else shared an advent calendar, or a new ornament, etc. as the day got closer i was worried we wouldn't have any new traditions left. luckily we just decorated our gingerbread house, and she thought that was the perfect thing to share and no one else had shared it.
