So Katelyn has come up with a new way of smiling. She smiles really wide, scrunches her nose and squints her eyes. For some reason, everytime she does it, the image of the Kool-Aid man pops into my head. And then I get thirsty. Anyway, we conducted a poll and approximately 67% of the participants agree that a resemblance exists. Decide for yourselves... (sample size of the poll was 3).

The Office

"Guess what? I have flaws. What are they? Oh I dunno, I sing in the shower? Sometimes I spend too much time volunteering. Occasionally I'll hit somebody with my car. So sue me-- no, don't sue me. That is opposite the point I'm trying to make." -Michael Scott
Tyler and I have recently become big fans of The Office--and our good friends are returning to NBC tomorrow night! (No, we're not losers, but if you've seen the show you would understand why I've called them good friends. Really.)

Top 10 reasons you know you're a mom...
1. You find yourself humming "Old McDonald" while cleaning your house.
2. Your 'you' time consists of your ten minutes in the shower.
3. You've read more children's books in the last four months than any other kind of book in your entire lifetime.
4. A night in the town means taking the kids out past six p.m.
5. You ask where the 'potty' is.
6. Your vocabulary lately consists of hi, bye, ma-ma, da-da, and more.
7. You hide in the bathroom to be alone.
8. You hire a sitter, but spend half the night checking in on the kids.
9. You keep buying clothes, but they're not for you.
10. You consider parenting to be the best job in the world and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I love to read the holy scriptures...
I was surprised to find when I returned that not only had she gotten a hold of my scriptures, she had opened them and was happily turning the pages. I thought to myself, "Oh yea, my baby already loves the scriptures!" (And then, of course, I quickly grabbed my camera and took a picture).
Sadly though, my happiness did not last because in truth all Katelyn really cared about was grabbing hold of a single page so she could rip it out, which she did. I guess we now have a new rule in our home: don't touch, just listen.
Hats off to you
