brynn at three months

our little brynn is getting better!  she is finally not crying every evening, which is such a relief.  she still needs to be held all evening long until she finally falls asleep, but boy that's better than the crying.  brynn is also letting me put her down now.  i can put her in her bouncer or on the floor for extended periods of time.  i can now use two hands to get katelyn ready for school.  brynn is such a smiler.  she loves to greet us with a big, gummy grin.  she is also noticing the toys around her and is reaching for them.  brynn is also taking better naps during the day, so i can get stuff done again.  we sure love this little girl.  as a new baby she's made us work extra hard, but we love this sweet, sweet girl to pieces.

it's hard work being such a good dad

this little lady doesn't let us sleep much at night as evidenced by this picture

our thankful tree

we made a nice big thankful tree this year for fhe.  the kids loved coming up with things they were thankful for.  i meant to have the kids write new things each day they were thankful for, but i never got around to cutting more leaves out.

snow day

we had our first snow of the season, and the kids were thrilled!  they wanted to go out in the backyard to check it out for themselves.

this was reese's first time to really enjoy the snow.  she loved it, but quickly realized snow is cold so she didn't stay out too long.

tanner could have stayed out longer and of course, is a little ham for the camera.

our kiddos

we sure love these kids of ours!

it started out with just katelyn and brynn, then the rest of the kids joined in.

tyler stood behind me making them laugh so i could get some smiles and all of them looking in the same direction.

cousin love

these two little ladies were born almost two months apart.  it's so fun to be so close to one of my sisters and to see our kids getting to know each other.

brynn doesn't have a lot of hair, but she looks extra bald next to charlotte.  charlotte was born with amazing head of hair!

we moved them to the couch and i gave brynn a headband so she wouldn't look so bald.

caught both babies with their tongues out.

brynn's newest tricks

brynn is now three months (almost four) and loves sitting in the bumbo, tummy time (when she can look in her mirror) and playing with and reaching for her toys.

she does enjoy the bumbo, but doesn't sit in it for a lengthy amount of time.  she gets tired using all that energy sitting up.

brynn will do tummy time for so long with this mirror.

she's getting so interested in toys.  she's still working on her coordination though, so grabbing the toys can be difficult at times.
